The main focus of development in Leeds to date has been concentrated along the River Aire. The main example of this is the Clarence Dock scheme, the largest mixed use scheme in the North, which has seen voracious demand from investor purchasers. McKenzie House, the second phase saw 60% of the 181units sold in the first week following the launch in October 2003. The strength of purchaser demand remains strong as 69% of the units in the third phase, Franklin House, were reserved in the month following its launch in April 2004. On completion, Clarence Dock will consist of over 1000 residential units, high quality offices, a hotel, a casino, numerous restaurants and a further selection of retail and leisure facilities. |
